Is it permissible for a person to curse himself for his sins and transgressions by saying: "Cursed be the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I am resurrected alive," and what is his fate?

It is not permissible for a Muslim to curse himself, because cursing is expulsion from the mercy of Allah. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade supplicating against oneself, saying: "Do not supplicate against yourselves except with good," and "Do not supplicate against yourselves, nor supplicate against your children, nor supplicate against your wealth; lest you coincide with a moment from Allah in which He is asked for a grant, and He responds to you." Scholars have agreed on the prohibition of cursing. Allah Almighty has legislated for the sinner repentance and seeking forgiveness, not cursing.
