What is the ruling on one who swore by Allah to abandon watching abominations and practicing masturbation, then occasionally returned to watching abominations?

If what occurred from you was a self-thought and you did not utter your oath, then no expiation is due from you. However, if you did utter the oath, then expiation is binding upon you. You must refrain from watching forbidden things and practicing masturbation and repent from them, whether you swore to that or not. Expiation is binding upon you if you swore to abandon it by one of the names of Allah or one of His attributes.
