How much is the Nisab for Zakat on money in Morocco, and what is the amount of Zakat that must be paid?

The zakat threshold (nisab) for money is determined by comparing it to the nisab of gold or silver, whichever is more beneficial for the poor. The nisab for gold is 85 grams, and for silver, it is 595 grams. To determine the nisab for any currency, one looks at the value of the nisab of gold and silver in that currency and chooses the one more beneficial for the poor. The amount that must be given is a quarter of a tenth (2.5%).
