Is it necessary to repeat ghusl if the yellowish-white discharge continues after performing ghusl following menstruation and istihada?
If a woman sees menstrual blood followed by yellowish or brownish discharge, extending for fifteen days without experiencing purity, then she is considered in a state of istihadah (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding). Her ghusl (ritual bath) is sufficient for her, and she is not required to repeat it after the istihadah ceases. The sign of purity is the complete dryness of the vaginal opening or the discharge of the white secretion (al-qassah al-bayda’).
