Is it permissible for a woman to call her husband by pet names such as "my kitten," "my cookie," or "my father" with the intention of bringing joy to him, knowing that he is pleased by it, or does this constitute an insult to Allah's honoring of humanity?

A woman should not address her husband as “my cat” or “my duck,” because Satan may use this as an entry point to corrupt the marital relationship. There are other good expressions that suffice instead. It is also not appropriate for a wife to call her husband “Daddy,” and children can be accustomed to addressing him by another means.
