Why does Allah (SWT) use the pronoun "We" in the Quran when speaking about Himself?

The pronoun "we" in Arabic is used for a singular entity who magnifies himself, and this is the intended meaning in the Qur’an when Allah speaks of Himself, for Allah Almighty is the Great, the Majestic, and the Possessor of Grandeur. It may also be used to express a singular entity who is accompanied by others of his kind, or a singular entity who is accompanied by his helpers.
