Is the probability of us being from the Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah one hundred percent, and is it possible that the allegorical interpretation is the correct one?

To identify Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (People of the Sunnah and the Community), one must adhere to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and follow the Companions and the Successors with excellence, for they are the saved sect, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Except those on whom your Lord has bestowed mercy." The Hadith also clarified that the Ummah (Muslim nation) will divide into seventy-three sects, all of them in the Fire except one, which is "what I and my Companions are upon." This is further supported by the Hadith of Al-Irbad ibn Sariyah: "Hold fast to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me. Adhere to it and bite onto it with your molar teeth."
