Is it permissible to supplicate for death to hasten its coming as a means of avoiding fornication and falling into the unlawful?

Emigration from disbelieving lands is obligatory for whoever is unable to practice the rituals of their religion or fears temptation (fitnah). For those unable to leave such lands, they may supplicate with the prophetic prayer: "O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is good for me, and cause me to die when death is good for me." There is no dislike in wishing for death if a Muslim fears temptation for their religion. Among the reported supplications is: "O Allah, I ask You for the performance of good deeds, the abandonment of reprehensible acts, and the love of the poor.
