How can the signs of the Hour be an independent science and a foundation for religion and for the attributes of the possessor of the Imamate, despite the scarcity of knowledge about them? And what is the benefit of learning them if they do not accompany a person in their daily life nor benefit them after their death? And how does ignorance of them weaken Islam and its followers?

Knowing and learning about the Signs of the Hour is among the important matters of religion. The benefits of learning them can be summarized as: the vastness of God's mercy by not surprising His servants, preparing for the Hereafter, testing souls with faith in the unseen, solidifying faith as each sign is fulfilled, preparing souls to face tribulations, nurturing them to be chaste, warning against imitating disbelievers and abandoning evils, raising souls and families in obedience, respecting scholars, revering the sanctity of blood, guarding against injustice, not becoming preoccupied with worldly adornments, anticipating relief and not despairing, and humility.
