What is the ruling on the fast of a woman who purified then her menstruation returned on the same day; does she have to make up for that day?

If menstruation ceases for a day or a night during the menstrual period, the woman must perform ghusl (ritual purification) and pray the prayers whose time she caught while pure. This is based on the saying of Ibn Abbas: "As for when she sees the 'Bahraini blood,' she does not pray, but if she sees purity for an hour, she should perform ghusl." 'Bahraini blood' refers to thick or heavy blood.
