Where do the two angels entrusted with recording a person's deeds go after his death?

Every human being is assigned angels who record his deeds. When the son of Adam dies, these angels go wherever Allah wills, either by being assigned to a new-born, or by ascending to the heavens for worship, or by being assigned to other tasks. All of this is within Allah's knowledge, and a Muslim should only inquire about what benefits him.
