What is the ruling on using the following phrases: "I beg you," "My greetings," "Good morning," and "Good evening"?

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen said: There is no harm in saying "I beg of you" to someone who is able to fulfill the request, nor in saying "My greetings to you" and similar phrases, due to Allah's saying: ﴿And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet [in return] with one better than it or [at least] return it [in a like manner].﴾ (An-Nisa: 86). Similarly, "good morning/evening" is permissible, provided it is not used as a substitute for the Islamic greeting (Salam).
