What is your opinion on the Salafi movement and its claim that it is the saved sect and that it follows what the Messenger and his companions were upon, and what is your opinion on Salafi scholars?

The Salafi Da'wah (call) is a call to act upon the Qur'an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the righteous predecessors (Salaf al-Salih) from among the Companions and the Tabi'in (their successors) in all aspects of life. It is the call of truth that Allah and His Messenger commanded. Allah praised the Muhajirun and the Ansar and those who followed them with excellence, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed us that the saved sect is the one that follows what he and his Companions were upon. Salafi scholars are those who followed the path of the Companions, such as the four Imams, and later scholars like Ibn Taymiyyah, Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaymeen, Al-Albani, and others known for their truthfulness and their call to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
