It is well-known among scholars that there is no denunciation in matters of jurisprudential disagreement where there is no explicit text or consensus, and this includes the issue of a woman uncovering her face. Some contemporary scholars hold the view that one should denounce a woman who uncovers her face in a country where its scholars issue fatwas obligating covering the face, because the layperson is bound to act according to the rulings of the scholars of their country. As for the hijab, it does not require a specific color, and it is permissible for a woman to wear any color that fulfills the conditions of the شرعي (Shar'i) hijab. Therefore, the mere fact that the hijab is pink is not a sin.
