And is it obligatory to promptly return what is easy to return immediately, or is it permissible to postpone everything until after the baccalaureate?

The questions indicate that the inquirer is afflicted with waswasa (obsessive whispering), and its cure is to ignore it. The inquirer must return whatever they took from others that their soul did not permit. They may contact the rightful owners to seek their permission until the exam is over, then look for them after finishing the exam and give them their rights. For anyone they cannot find, they should give charity on their behalf for their right. Documenting rights and having them witnessed serves to preserve them so they are not lost.
