What is the ruling on entering lottery draws?

Lottery draws are a form of gambling and games of chance, where a participant pays an amount for a number that enters them into a draw for high monetary prizes, resulting in either a gain or a loss. This is the true nature of gambling (maysir). Therefore, participation in them is absolutely forbidden, and the money paid for them is unlawful (haram). Their description of this as "cooperation" is a deception and misrepresentation, as the reality is that it is forbidden gambling and consuming people's wealth unjustly.
