Is it permissible for a woman to request a Khulʻ (divorce at the wife's instance by returning the dower or offering compensation), and does the husband's right to any part of the dower and marriage expenses fall if it is proven that the man misrepresented his personal information and that he is bewitched, and are the marriage expenses considered part of the specified dower?

The husband's salary, job, and his family's financial situation are not considered defects that invalidate a marriage contract. Defects that warrant annulment are those that make marital life difficult, or repellent or contagious diseases. If the husband fails in his duties towards his wife or harms her, she has the right to take the matter to a judge, who will compel him to fulfill her rights or grant her a divorce. If no harm is proven, she may seek a khul‘ (divorce at the wife's instance) by waiving her mahr (dowry). Marriage expenses are not part of the mahr unless explicitly stipulated in the contract.
