How are the obsessions that Christians suffer from in their religion interpreted, despite the fact that some elders believe that obsessions only afflict those whose faith is strong and committed?

Some narrations mention that some disbelievers reported not experiencing whispers (waswasah) in their acts of worship. Some scholars interpreted this to mean that Satan does not whisper to them because their actions please him. Whispering usually targets those who turn to Allah with their hearts, as Satan tries to obstruct their path. Satan has no need to corrupt the invalid acts of worship of disbelievers; rather, he beautifies their misguidance for them and turns them away from faith. Satan does not do anything to a ruined house. Furthermore, thoughts and ideas can originate from the human being himself, whether a believer or a disbeliever.
