If the deceased father did not leave a male child, then the daughters receive two-thirds and the wife receives one-eighth. The remainder is divided among the son of the son and the daughter of the son by ta‘sib (agnatic inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females. As for the daughter's son and daughter, they do not inherit. Likewise, the deceased's brother is excluded by the son's son.
