Is the following Hadith authentic: "The land of Resurrection and Gathering, go to it and pray there, for one prayer in it is like a thousand prayers elsewhere"? And is the intended meaning of bringing oil as a gift to it that the oil be brought to Al-Aqsa Mosque to be lit therein?

It is narrated from Maymuna, the freed slave of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, a weak hadith regarding the virtue of Jerusalem, which contains the phrase, "it offers oil for illumination," meaning that the offering is a metaphor comparing prayer, which is light, to oil used for illumination. This phrase indicates the permissibility of illuminating mosques with oil. The phrase "land of gathering and resurrection," which appears in the hadith of Maymuna, also appears in another authentic hadith narrated by Abu Dharr, may Allah be pleased with him.
