Is it permissible for a menstruating girl to say that she has prayed if her family wakes her for prayer, considering herself in the position of one who has prayed, and out of embarrassment to inform them that she is menstruating, especially if the one waking her is her father or brother?

Menstruation is a matter Allah has decreed for the daughters of Adam. If a girl feels shy to state explicitly that she is menstruating, she can allude to it with words that convey her situation, following the example of 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, who said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "I am not praying," which was an allusion to her menstruation. It is permissible to hint that she prayed before menstruation, for in allusions there is room to avoid lying. However, if she informs [someone] that she prayed without intending to allude, that is a forbidden lie.
