What is the ruling on the wetness I found after waking up, and I do not know if it is semen or not, and is ghusl for menstruation sufficient for it if it was semen?

If a woman sees a wetness after sleeping, and is unsure whether it is manī (seminal fluid) or madhī (pre-seminal fluid), she has the choice between considering it manī, in which case she performs ghusl (ritual bath), or madhī, in which case she performs wudūʾ (ablution) and washes whatever her clothes and body have been afflicted with. This is the view of the Shāfiʿī school and the one given in fatwas. If she considers it manī, then one ghusl is sufficient for both janābah (ritual impurity from sexual activity) and menstruation if she intends both.
