Does repeating a supplication a specific number of times guarantee its immediate answer without delay?

Among the etiquettes of supplication (du'a') and the reasons for its acceptance are repetition and persistence. However, there is no evidence to suggest that a supplication is answered without delay. Furthermore, the acceptance of a supplication does not necessarily mean that the supplicant's exact request will be fulfilled.
