What are my duties towards my father-in-law who suffers from Alzheimer's, lives with us, and causes tension and problems?

A wife is not obligated to serve her husband's parents or relatives, and the husband has no right to compel her to do so. However, her service to them falls under the category of chivalry and doing good deeds, which increases her honor and endearment to her husband.
