The first Hadith: Some scholars have graded it as Hasan (good) or Sahih (authentic).

The second Hadith: Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Hakim narrated and authenticated it on the authority of Abdullah ibn Hantab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah saw Abu Bakr and Umar and said, "These two are the hearing and the sight." Al-Albani graded it as Sahih.
