Should a Muslim continue to read the books, writings, and compositions of the Rafidah and Sufis, given his limited knowledge and understanding of the falsity of their beliefs?

A Muslim must preserve their belief by staying away from doubts and tribulations. It is not permissible to look into books of innovation, misguidance, or atheism, except for someone who is well-versed in Islamic knowledge, for the purpose of refuting them and demonstrating their falsehood, due to the harm of corrupting beliefs that such books entail. This is what scholars and the righteous predecessors have agreed upon. Among those who issued fatwas to this effect are Ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi, al-Shatibi, Ibn Hajar, Ibn Uthaymeen, and the Permanent Committee. Life is short, and it should be spent on beneficial knowledge.
