What is the ruling on working in a restaurant that serves pork and requires touching it, or working in a shop that sells decorative items that include animal statues?

The prohibition of pork is a matter of scholarly consensus, and it is impermissible to work in a restaurant that sells it. Depicting living beings is also forbidden. Therefore, one must seek another job, for whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. Allah has promised those who are righteous a good provision. Allah Almighty says: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent."
