Is it permissible to break the fast in Ramadan and pay expiation for the fasting based on the fatwa of a Muslim Shia doctor due to illness?

If an illness is not ordinarily expected to be cured, then it is permissible to break the fast with a fidyah (expiation) by feeding a poor person for each day, based on the Almighty's saying: "And upon those who are able to tolerate it [but with difficulty] - a ransom [for abstaining] of feeding a poor person." However, if the illness is expected to be cured, then it is permissible to break the fast with the obligation to make up the days after the impediment is removed, based on His saying, Glorified be He: "But whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days." It is advised to consult trustworthy doctors.
