What is the ruling regarding a man's statement to his wife: "I swear by Allah Almighty, if the passports arrive next week and the response is a refusal to go for Umrah, then you are divorced, divorced, divorced"?

If a man makes his wife's divorce conditional upon a condition, such as saying: "You are divorced if next week comes and the concerned authority refuses to approve the 'Umrah," and the condition is met, then the divorce takes place. If the husband did not intend three divorces, it is considered a single divorce. In this case, the husband can reconcile with his wife as long as she is within her 'iddah (waiting period) and without the need for a new contract. However, if the 'iddah ends before reconciliation, then a new contract is required. But if the husband intended three divorces, then it is considered a major irrevocable divorce (baynunah kubra), and she is not lawful for him until she marries another man and he divorces her. It is necessary to avoid anger, which can lead to divorce, as it is not the only solution to marital problems.
