What is the ruling on the fast of one who intentionally extracts blood from their tooth that habitually bleeds, and what is the ruling on that in all schools of thought?

Drawing blood from a tooth does not invalidate the fast, but one must be careful not to swallow it. If swallowed intentionally, the fast is broken and قضى (making up the fast) becomes obligatory. If swallowed unintentionally, the fast remains valid. Scholars have held that blood coming out from a tooth extraction does not break the fast because it does not affect the fasting person in the same way as hijama (cupping). One must be careful not to swallow the blood because it is not like saliva, the swallowing of which does not break the fast. If saliva mixes with blood and changes because of it, swallowing it breaks the fast. If blood comes out of the teeth and enters the throat: if saliva predominates, the fast is not invalidated; if blood predominates, it is invalidated; and if they are equal, it is invalidated as a precautionary measure.
