What is the status of the Seerah in relation to the Qur'an?

The Prophetic Biography (Seerah) is the practical interpretation of the Qur’an. Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said about the character of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "His character was the Qur’an." The Holy Qur’an is considered the primary source for understanding the Prophetic Biography, as it dealt with general features of his life, peace and blessings be upon him, as in Surat Ad-Duha, and discussed events and incidents, commented on them, and explained the lessons learned from them, as in Surat Al-Anfal, which dealt with the Battle of Badr.
