Is it permissible to pray Salatul Tasabih after Asr prayer?

The majority of scholars dislike praying after Asr because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade praying after the Asr prayer until the sun sets. Salat al-Tasabih is not one of the prayers with a specific cause (dhaat asbab), so it should not be performed during times of prohibition. This is unlike prayers with a specific cause, which are permissible to perform after Asr.
