What is the Shar'i ruling on the aforementioned divorce and its subsequent revocations, and the desire of both spouses to reconcile, knowing that the wife requested the divorce in exchange for absolution, and that she asked her father to halt the divorce proceedings after their completion, and that both spouses wish to return to each other?

The father of the wife dissolving her marriage after she asked him to leave you is considered an invalid dissolution (khul'), unless he had committed to giving you something from his own property in exchange for the khul'. If the khul' was on her behalf and the compensation was her responsibility, then it is void and not binding on you. If you have not divorced your wife more than twice previously, then the woman remains under your marital bond. It is advisable to refer the matter to the courts.
