Is it permissible to leave salary savings in the bank due to the lack of a safe place at home and the necessity of leaving the house for a long period?

It is not permissible to keep money in an interest-based bank, as it involves cooperation in sin and aggression. However, if there is a need and no Islamic alternative is available, then there is no harm in depositing the money for the purpose of preservation in a current account. If usurious interest accrues, it is obligatory to take it and spend it on the welfare of Muslims or give it to the poor and needy.
