It is suggested to name the journal "Basa'ir" (Insights) as an اقتباس (quotation) from Allah's verses: "There has come to you بصائر (enlightenments/insights) from your Lord" and "This is بصائر (enlightenments/insights) for humanity." The meaning of "Basa'ir" is clear proofs and manifest arguments. It is advised to strive for clarity in explaining the correct Islamic creed and what contradicts it, to clarify the educational, intellectual, and behavioral issues that the contemporary Muslim needs, and to draw attention to the challenges facing Muslims and ways to confront them, while seeking guidance from the sayings of the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (the People of the Sunnah and the Community).
