Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, wept when he saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, lying on a humble bed, and he recalled Khosrow and Caesar and their kingdoms. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then replied to him: "Are you not content that they have this world and we have the Hereafter?" This hadith has its origin in the Two Sahihs and other collections.
