Is it permissible to say: "May Allah's blessings be upon our Master Muhammad"?

"Sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the wording: 'Allahumma salli ala Sayyidina Muhammad' (O Allah, bless our master Muhammad) is permissible. However, it is preferable to send blessings upon him in the manner he taught his companions, which is: 'Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin abdika wa rasulika, kama sallaita ala Ibrahima, wa barik ala Muhammadin wa ala ali Muhammadin kama barakta ala Ibrahima wa ali Ibrahima' (O Allah, bless Muhammad, Your servant and Your Messenger, as You blessed Abraham, and bestow Your grace upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You bestowed Your grace upon Abraham and the family of Abraham); this is because the word 'Sayyidina' (our master) is not found in the known narrations from the Companions."
