How can one atone for the sin of not praising Allah and for complaining about His decree? Can Allah and one's children forgive that? Will the deceased children be seen in Paradise in human form and not as birds? How can one alleviate intense grief after a miscarriage?
We advise you both to supplicate and to exert efforts, for Allah is capable of all things, and He has promised to respond to whoever supplicates to Him. It is not a flaw for a couple to be blessed with daughters, and there is no need for sorrow on account of that; rather, it is a great favor. The loss of daughters may be a trial to increase your reward, and you both must be patient and grateful, for a miscarriage intercedes for its parents. You both must forget the past and abandon blame and reproach, and focus on what benefits you, for the future is better. Your husband should not resort to divorce, and do not despair of having children, for Allah bestows upon whomever He wills females and males, and He makes whomever He wills barren.
