What is the ruling on one who recites Al-Fatihah more than once and supplicates thereafter, then recites a Surah and supplicates, then bows, and when told that this is an innovation, he says, "You know nothing"?

Scholars have differed on the ruling regarding repeating Al-Fatihah. One group permitted it, while others invalidated the prayer due to it. Yet another group disliked it if there was no excuse, and this is the relied-upon view among the Hanbalis and the preponderant opinion. However, if it is repeated due to an excuse, there is no dislike. As for supplication (du'a) after Al-Fatihah or a surah and before bowing (ruku'), it was not reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) did so, and the Companions fully described the manner of his prayer (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) said: "Pray as you have seen me praying."
