Is it permissible to purchase a car in installments from the Engineers' Syndicate in the name of an engineer who is a member of it, given that the buyer is the one who pays the installments and not the engineer?

It is not permissible to purchase a car in installments in the name of another engineer who is a member of the syndicate if the syndicate restricts installment sales to its members. This is because it constitutes deception and falsehood, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever deceives is not of me." Nor is it lawful for the engineer to allow his name to be used for this purpose, due to the general statement of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
