Are “Allam Al-Ghuyub,” “Al-Badi’,” and “Al-Khafid” among the Beautiful Names of Allah?

The names "Allam al-Ghuyub" (Knower of the Unseen), "Al-Badi'" (The Originator), and "Al-Khafid" (The Abaser) have not been mentioned as absolute names for Allah. Rather, they appeared either in an attributive form ("Allam al-Ghuyub," "Badi' al-Samawati wal-Ard" - Originator of the heavens and the earth) or in a verbal form ("yakhafidu wa yarfa'" - He abases and exalts).

Some scholars adopted these names because they appeared in weak hadiths concerning the enumeration of Allah's Most Beautiful Names.

The naming of these attributes is due to several reasons, including: - Their reliance on hadiths that enumerate the Most Beautiful Names, despite their weakness. - An expansive approach to deriving names from actions and attributes, or from attributive names. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymin did not include these names among the Most Beautiful Names because they were not mentioned in an absolute form in the Qur'an or authentic Sunnah.
