Is there repentance for my father, who has been working for 10 years in the field of videography for events that contain evil acts, and how can he disavow the tapes he has filmed?

Video recording is permissible in principle if what is being recorded is lawful and its objectives are praiseworthy. It is forbidden if it records prohibitions and objectionable things. As for the father's justification based on high expenses, it is incorrect, because the blessing of money decreases with unlawful earnings, and sins are among the causes of deprivation of sustenance, they remove blessings, distance the servant from his Lord, and prevent the acceptance of supplication. Moreover, the owner of unlawful earnings will be questioned about them on the Day of Judgment and they will be a cause for entering Hellfire. Allah the Almighty has facilitated for His servants ways of good sustenance. Whoever fears Allah, He will provide for him and suffice him. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
