What is the ruling on one who masturbated during the daytime in Ramadan for years, did not make up for the fasting days, and then a new Ramadan began while he does not know the number of days he missed?

Masturbation is forbidden, and fasting is invalidated by masturbation if semen is ejaculated. You must make up the days you missed fasting until you are reasonably certain that you have fasted the same number of days you missed. If you were obliged to make up the fasts and did not do so until another Ramadan began, you must pay an expiation of feeding one poor person for each day, provided the delay was not due to a valid excuse. The expiation for delaying does not multiply with the number of years.
