Should a woman pray if post-natal bleeding (nifas) has stopped and white discharge has appeared?

If the lochial bleeding (nifas) ceases, along with any accompanying yellowish or brownish discharge, then the woman has become pure (tahur). It becomes obligatory for her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and pray, whether she sees white discharge afterwards or not. Thus, the sign of purity is the cessation of blood and any subsequent yellowish or brownish discharge.
