The woman's maniyy (seminal fluid) is thin and yellow. Its emission is accompanied by pleasure and a subsequent decrease in desire. Its scent is like that of date palm pollen. As for madhiy (pre-seminal fluid), it is a thin, white, sticky fluid that is discharged when desire intensifies, and both men and women experience it. If maniyy is discharged without desire, then ghusl (ritual bath) is not required, nor is ghusl obligatory if maniyy is not discharged. A wet dream (ihtilam) is the discharge of maniyy during sleep and necessitates ghusl. Therefore, if a woman prays after a wet dream without performing ghusl, her prayer is invalid and must be repeated.
