What is the ruling on insulting the reprehensible, and actors and actresses?

It is permissible to curse the one who commits a reprehensible act with words that are not vulgar or obscene. As for cursing actors and actresses, if it is by mentioning the sins they openly commit, then there is no harm in it, because openly committing sins permits backbiting, as does seeking assistance to change a reprehensible act. Otherwise, it is not permissible.
