Which is better and more beloved to Allah: not waiting for the older brother and going directly to prayer, or waiting for him with the possibility of missing the opening takbir or the reward of waiting for prayer?

It is desirable to go early to the mosque to catch the opening Takbir with the Imam, based on the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever prays to Allah for forty days in congregation, catching the first Takbir, will be granted two immunities: immunity from Hellfire and immunity from hypocrisy." Among the other benefits are waiting for the prayer and securing the first row. Therefore, one should not forgo these rewards for the sake of waiting for a brother; rather, one should encourage him to come early.
