What is the legitimate and respectful response to someone who mocks and ridicules an advisor who called for not celebrating Christmas, knowing that the advisor does not wish to offend anyone?

Enjoining good and forbidding evil necessitates patience in the face of harm, as Luqman advised his son, and as the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, also advised. Whoever fulfills the right of advice and clarifies Allah's ruling will not be harmed by the mockery of the ignorant. Rather, he should invite to Allah with wisdom, good counsel, and by debating in the best manner. Allah commanded His Prophet to be patient with what they say, not to grieve over them, nor to be distressed by their schemes, for Allah is with the righteous and the doers of good.
