What is the ruling on praying in a mosque where there is doubt about the presence of a grave based on the statements of others, and is it a condition to say "A'udhu billahi min ash-shaytanir-rajim" (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan) and "Bismillahir-rahmanir-rahim" (In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) before reciting a Quranic verse in the Friday sermon to fulfill the condition of recitation, and is it obligatory to repeat the Friday prayer as Dhuhr (noon prayer) for one who did not attend the first khutbah (sermon)?

Prayer is valid in a mosque where the presence of a grave is doubtful. The fundamental principle is the validity of the prayer, and it is not invalidated merely by doubt. However, if the presence of a grave is confirmed, it should be investigated whether the grave is inside the mosque or in its courtyard. It would be invalidated if it is inside, according to some scholars, but not if it is in its courtyard.

Neither the isti'adhah (seeking refuge with Allah) nor the basmalah (reciting "In the name of Allah...") is required during the sermon when reciting a verse. There is no narration that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, began his sermon with them. It is not obligatory to repeat the Friday prayer as Dhuhr if one missed the sermon. If one catches a single rak'ah with the Imam, the Friday prayer is valid, based on the Prophet's, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Friday prayer has indeed caught the prayer."
