Is what I read about the Ibadis true, that they pray all prayers silently?

Scholars and Ibadis agree that the recitation of the Qur’an in prayers should be audible (jahr) in the Fajr prayer, and in the first two rak’ahs of the Maghrib and Isha prayers. It should be inaudible (sirr) in the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and in the third rak’ah of Maghrib, and the third and fourth rak’ahs of Isha.

The Ibadis are of the view that the minimum for audible recitation for an individual is for them to hear themselves, and for the Imam, it is for those behind him to hear. As for inaudible recitation, it is articulating the letters by moving the tongue without the ears hearing. Some of them are of the view that inaudible recitation for an individual is simply lowering the voice slightly.

A Muslim must be wary of websites belonging to people of innovation (Ahl al-Bid’ah) and restrict themselves to websites of the People of the Sunnah and the Community (Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah).
